The School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized an introductory session for new accepted students with the administrative faculty of the school represented by the Dean, Vice Dean and heads of departments, and exchange coordinators to introduce the school, its programs and laboratories, and to answer all their inquiries at the beginning of the academic year.

The Dean of SAMS, Dr. Ibrahem Altarawneh, welcomed the new students and gave them a full explanation of the school’s programs and the quality of the new teaching methods, the blended, face-to-face and online teaching used at the university.

From their side, heads of the Biomedical Engineering Department and the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Department explained the steps and instructions needed to register for various study subjects. In addition, the exchange coordinator, who is responsible for the German year, presented an overview of the instructions of the German Year and its benefits

The meeting included many questions from students related to their various university issues, and these questions were answered. At the end of the meeting, the Dean thanked all the students, wishing them the beginning of a new era of their lives at the university, stressing their commitment to public safety standards while using all university facilities.
