The German Jordanian University, in cooperation with the Knights of Change Team for Political and Community Development, organized a seminar entitled”: The Role of Jordan and the Hashemites in Defending the Palestinian Cause", in the presence of a number of local community members.
The President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, said that the Palestinian cause is one of the top priorities of the Hashemite leadership through projects, most importantly; the reconstruction of holy sites. Prof. Al-Halhouli added that the diplomacy led by His Majesty King Abdullah II to stop the brutal aggression against the innocent in Gaza and aid to confirm the unity of blood and destiny, and that the Palestinian cause is a humanitarian issue and we must intensify efforts to ensure justice in the region.
Dr. Hisham Al-Masri, a member of the team, said, "We Jordanians of various origins stand behind His Majesty King Abdullah II to support the Palestinians in the face of the brutal Israeli aggression, which exceeded all human and moral values and the barbaric practices that seeks to genocide the Palestinians.
Former MP Nabil al-Ghaishan said that the huge amount of blood of the displaced and what is happening in Gaza at the hands of an Israeli military machine is ruthless, adding that the resistance actions is the flood of Al-Aqsa was shocking the Israeli enemy.
The senate member Mohammed Al-Azaida said that the Jordanian and Hashemite role does not need flags or seminars, but Jordan is the twin of Palestine and was not limited to supporting the Palestinian cause, on the contrary, the ongoing war has restored to the nation the spirit of Badr, Yarmouk and Goliath.
The Military expert Dr. Mutlaq Al-Zayoud stated that our positions are firm towards the Palestinian cause, and that the Hashemite leadership is fully aware of this, indicating the security and political aspects of the continuation of the war.
