On Sunday , 15th of January , 2017 the South African Ambassador to Amman , His Excellency John Davies paid a visit to the German Jordanian University GJU to discuss a future academic and scientific cooperation between the embassy and the university.
Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, GJU President, welcomed the ambassador, arguing about assertively developing cooperation between GJU and the universities in South Africa.
H.E. Davies praised the excellence level of GJU and its great reputation, expressing his hope to coordinate between both parties to establish different academic educational cooperation that serve both sides.
At the end of the meeting, attended by Prof. Manar Fayyad, GJU Vice President and Prof. Dr Dorit Schumann GJU Vice-President for International Affairs, H.E Davies toured around the campus and the labs of the School of Applied Technical Sciences and School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management .
