A group of students headed by their professor Mr. Prof. Schrader form Fulda University of Applied Sciences visited GJU on Monday, 7th of March.

The purpose of visit is to search possible ways of  cooperation between the two universities and learn more about the planned program for refuge studies that offered by GJU.  

During the meeting organized by the International Office, Prof. Schrader and students who came from the faculty of Social and Cultural Studies, spoke about their interest in learning more about GJU since it is one of Fulda University’s partners.  

Additionally, they talked about the current situation of refugees in this area, trying to recognize how Jordanians cope with such an issues and how they get more involved in international social work with refugees.

Both sides pointed out that further discussions could be held in future about planning a joint program in International social work and refugees studies between the two universities.

Finally, visitors had a tour around the campus, the schools and the Waterwheel (al Naoura) where they all had the chance to mix up with GJU students.
