Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Amin Mahmoud, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh College of Business (TAG-College) – German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated on August 9, 2014 the graduation of its sixth Masters batch at King Hussein Business Park. 

 

The event, which celebrated the graduation of 104 students, was held in the presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri, Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs, League of Arab States, Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, GJU President, Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, Mr. Ralph Tarraf, the German Ambassador,  and TAGSB board of academics and employees.

 

Dr. Amin Mahmoud expressed his pride to graduate this batch of outstanding students, saying that this school is the best among the educational institutions in the Arab world that epitomizes creativity and excellence.

 

He also congratulated the graduates and assured them that they will drive the economic future of the kingdom. 

 

His Excellency, Dr. Al-Tuwaijri addressed the graduates saying, “you should be very proud that you graduated from this unique institution that became one of the top leading business schools in the Arab world.   

 

For his part Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid expressed his utmost delight to participate in the sixth graduation ceremony of TAG-SB, praising this unique partnership that aims to share the business expertise of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) with the academic world of GJU. 

 

He further pinpointed to the great level of TAG-SB’s graduates, whom now hold prestigious positions in the market, representing the school as incomparable school of Jordan, mentioning that the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) granted (TAG-SB) a five-year accreditation of its MBA program, also it was honored with the award for "Best Educational Institute in Management in Asia” by the World Education Congress Asia Awards 2011. 

 

Dr. Abu Ghazaleh congratulated graduates, and emphasized that the world needs leaders like them, who are not only intelligent and skillful but also compassionate and committed to using their talents to serve their country. 

 

In the closing, he gave the graduates some words of wisdom. “At our college you studied the lessons and then passed the tests. In the work place you will face the tests and therefrom learn the lessons”.

 

At the end of the Ceremony, Dr. Amin Mahmoud presented the students certificates and awards to the graduates in recognition of their distinguished academic performance and wished them the best in their future.
