On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a visit to a delegation from Texas A&M University- Qatar Branch (TAMUQ).

The delegation team included Prof. Eyad Masad- Executive Director of Global Partnerships-Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Dr. Ahmed Abdelwahab, Professor of Chemical Engineering, and Ms. Hania Ayyash, Manager of Graduate Studies at Texas A&M at Qatar.

During the visit, the delegation met with the president of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad as well as the staff of the School Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM) and the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS).

A lecture about "Research and Graduate Studies at Texas A&M University and the Branch Campus in Qatar” was conducted to introduce GJU’s students about applying to graduate studies in engineering at Texas A&M with a focus on the chemical engineering department.

The lecture covered the subjects of Overview of Research Areas in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University and its Branch Campus in Qatar, Opportunities for Graduate Studies and Guidelines for Applying to Graduate Studies.

Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wahab conducted a Technical Seminar about Sustainable Water and Energy Utilization Initiative.
