The Female Football Team at German-Jordanian University (GJU) won the Champion title for the Fivefold Football Championship organized by the Jordanian University Sports Federation, and the Tennis Team won the first place in the table tennis competition, organized by Al-Zeitouna University.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad congratulated the students on their efforts which resulted in accomplishing this achievement, stressing that GJU will remain supportive of the students' initiatives, sports and extra-curricular activities.

It is noteworthy that the football tournament was attended by 12 teams from Jordanian universities. On another hand four teams participated in AL- Zeitouna University Championship for Tennis Games from universities of Petra, Zeitouna, Isra’a and GJU.

The GJU football team was represented by Hiba Al-Thahabi, Lina Al-Saheb, Rand Barakat, Lian Al-Saheb, Ban Nousa, Aegis Michel, Zain Al-Quraini, Nada Amr, Rama Momani, Sophia Hattar, Rahaf Marei, Lian Al-Naoury and Yara Al-Tawal

The GJU team for Tennis Games was represented by Abdullah Al-Husseini, Mohammed Khaddour and Justin Andrasos.
