A group of students and professors from Bremen City University of Applied Sciences (HSB) visited GJU and met with the Vice President Prof. Manar Fayyad, in order to enhance cooperation in the area of cultural exchange between the two universities.

Prof. Manar Fayyad welcomed the guests and briefed about the university, its schools’ majors, and its unique educational environment. The guests were introduced to GJU’s story through the GJU film produced on the occasion of the university’s 10th anniversary.

The meeting marked the beginning of a visit at GJU in the context of the DAAD funded project “GJU - Bremen'15” that was prepared by HSB together with Dr. Christina B. Class and Dr. Ala' Khalifeh  from the School of Computer Engineering and Information Technology. In the context of the project, four professors and six students from GJU attended the international week on “Participative Media” in Bremen in June 2015.

Prof. Gerlinde Schreiber, Prof. Thomas Risse, Prof. Martin Hering-Bertram, Annette Diller Kemper and the 10 students from Bremen will meet with staff and students to discuss different topics to enhance the cooperation between the two universities related to student and staff exchange, research, and other areas. In addition, Prof. Risse and Prof. Hering-Bertram will offer two block courses for GJU students.
