On Tuesday 10th of July 2018, The German Jordanian University (GJU), held a 3-day voluntary training course entitled "Successful Leadership and Effective Management", for Roman  Orthodox Schools' principals in Amman, which was conducted by Assistant Dean of the School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS), Dr. Fathi Al-Arabi.

The training course aims to provide Schools' principals with managerial and leadership skills in modern visions and methods.

The training course consisted of 15 topics, such as;  Knowledge and skills in leadership and management, Importance of school culture, Characteristics of the educational leader, Assertiveness as a key trait in leadership positions, Norms and values in school leadership, national culture impact on leadership and management, and Key workplace attitudes.

Dr. Fathi Al-Arabi said that the outcomes of the training were very successful and fruitful. He praised the candidates’ dedication and efficiency, which in turn reflected on the quality of ideas and discussions raised during the training.

He also stressed the willingness of GJU, represented by the president Prof. Manar Fayyad, in providing community services activities to any Jordanian institution.
