On Tuesday 24th of April 2018, the German Jordanian University (GJU) held a workshop on “Industrialization Partnership” aims at demonstrating the Bavarian approach of building up sustainable value chains by combining existing raw materials, high quality infrastructure and most advanced programs of technology transfer.

In her welcome speech, Vice President of GJU Prof. Dorit Schumann introduced GJU to participants from local industry and universities, indicating that GJU allocates many efforts towards the industrial relations and projects locally and internationally.

The workshop consisted of two parts. The first part where Managing Director of InSITE BAVARIA – a business division of TUM international GmbH- MR. Daniel Gottschald, spoke about Industrial Site Development and Cluster Building- how to put industrialization partnerships into practice.

The second part of the workshop discussed key enabling technologies and joint development potential, in addition to drafting visions of new value chains and production clusters.
