Under the patronage of President of German Jordanian University (GJU) Prof. Manar Fayyad, the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), graduated the participants in the workshop of “New Law of Urban and Rural Zoning and Building”.
The workshop that lasted for five days was organized to the employees of the Directorate of Municipals Affairs, Madaba in a form of intensive lectures on the new law that was passed in July 2017.
Representative of the Ministry of Municipals Affairs, Eng.Helwa Ghazal pointed out that the workshop aims at introducing the new law to the employees and to familiarize them with the new articles that deals with matters relating to building construction, engineering and related fields.
She explained that the workshop also focuses on contract law, commercial law, planning law, employment law and tort, clarifying that construction law covers a wide range of legal issues including contract, negligence, bonds and bonding, guarantees and sureties, liens and other security interests, tendering, construction claims, and related consultancy contracts.
At the end of the workshop, Fayyad handed out certificates to participants.
