Amman- 21 January 2018

On 9th and 10th of January 2018, “HELP" Logistics and the German Jordanian University cohosted a workshop titled "Humanitarian Sector Challenges, Trends, and Solutions”.

The workshop was held in Amman, included representatives from various actors in the humanitarian, commercial, and academic sectors. The workshop revealed needs and challenges, and the participants engaged in designing solutions and collaborations to help face these.

The discussion and results were driven by speakers and participants from Save the Children International, Transparency International, UNHCR, World Vision, Caritas, Aqaba Logistics Village, Shoman Foundation, King Hussein Foundation, Queen Rania Madrasati Initiative, and the German Jordanian University, which was represented by the Vice-President for International Affairs, the School of Applied Humanities and Languages, School of Management and Logistics Sciences, as well as the Office for Industrial Links and its Program Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The participants clustered common opportunities and challenges on which they committed themselves to work on together in future activities.
