Career Guidance Office of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and Alumni Office at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with ZAIN Jordan organized two certified training workshops at GJU.

The first workshop was about communication skills delivered by Mr. Mohammad Ata, who talked to students about the different types of communication, and how to get the skills of hearing effectively to a speaker.

He gave the students excellent interactive examples to train them on using the body language to deliver message or idea, then the student did some exercises to know how to break the ice with new people and how to effect on them by building a kind of invisible bridges through focusing on the similarities between the sender and the receiver.

Students watched also some practical videos about improving the communication skills.

The following workshop about presentation skills was given by Mr. Mohammad Shaweish, where the students got the chance to present themselves in front of each other.

Mr. Shaweish pointed out that it is very important to any presenter to know the level of the audience before starting his presentation, so that he can choose the suitable way to give the presentation.

The content, ideas, references of the content are the most important features of a good presentation.
