GJU Study Group Mobility 2026 - Call for Applications

 

 

We are delighted to inform you that the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) via Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal will be providing financial support for Study Group Mobilities in the year 2026. This project is designed as a cooperation between a study group of up to 5 GJU students and 5 students from a German partner university under the supervision of Professors both from GJU and the German university. The study groups should be connected to graduation projects, to one of GJU's research clusters, or application-related long-term projects. The collaboration entails a visit of one group to either Germany or Jordan to exchange expertise and present the status of their work. A balanced distribution of the granted mobilities (Jordan to Germany and Germany to Jordan) is aimed for.

 

What is funded via GJU Project Office at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal?

  • flight tickets to Jordan OR Germany per study group plus one supervising professor (up to 6 persons), including travel to and from the airport
  • Visa costs
  • Fixed grant of 60 euros per night per person for a maximum of six nights

 

Who can apply?

  • Projects that are related to GJU clusters or that can provide valuable input for the development of future clusters are highly encouraged.
  • Graduating study groups (B.A./M.A.), formed by a partner university and GJU, who are working in the same academic field on their graduation project/thesis
  • Graduation projects that include a practical-oriented joint project with a topic aligned towards the GJU, Jordan or any other GJU applied science approach, innovation, technology transfer, sustainability, energy, and entrepreneurship have priority
  • Groups who work on an application-related long-term project e.g. concerning one of the above topics
  • Applications are open to any field of study
  • Double applications from one project including mutual visits from Jordan to Germany and vice versa are welcome.
