Alumni Workshop at GJU
Alumni Workshop at GJU

In the frame of the DAAD DIES cooperation project “Establishing Career Service Structures and Processes at GJU” between Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (H-AB) & German Jordanian University (GJU) a socializing evening was organized at Darat Othman Bdeir Campus on Monday August 28, 2017.

The event aimed at having a first gathering to establish a frame in which the university can reach out to the students in an early stage in order to create awareness about the importance of the Alumni work at GJU.

The students’ clubs at the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), and the founders of the new to be established GJU Alumni Association came together and presented their clubs and the services they provide through their clubs.

The main aim is to enhance the students’ loyalty and affiliation toward GJU by understanding the needs of the clubs and to find ways how the GJU can assist and connect them with the Alumni. On the other side GJU got the chance to explain the importance of getting updates from the graduates and why to keep in touch with GJU and the current students.

The event was organized and moderated by Mr. Ernst Schulten from the Career Services at H-AB, the teams of DSA, and the Office for Industrial Links (OIL). It was the kick-off for a special workshop that will take place at GJU on how to enhance and develop GJU’s Alumni activities, it strategic goals and their implementation.
