The German Jordanian University is pleased to receive your applications, and we kindly ask you to read the following instructions carefully, and apply all that is required accurately before submitting the application.

Second: Mechanism for submitting the application and paying the application fee:
 

Applicants from inside and outside Jordan​

 

Through (MyGJU Guests) platform:
 
Fill out the application form on the MyGJU Guests platform, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee (25 Jordanian dinars non-refundable/ for each choice of master’s specialization) through the following link, which contains an explanatory video of the payment and application mechanism:
 

 

  • Applications will not be accepted after (01/20/2022)

    Any requests received from sources other than those mentioned above will not be considered, and the applicable application and payment mechanism must be adhered to.

     

Third: Documents required to apply for admission:

 
Note:
 
In the event that the student is accepted, he must bring all documents in hard copy.
- Submitting an application for admission does not mean acceptance of the application, but rather it is subject to competition for available seats according to the placement of the concerned college.
 
- The accepted students are officially announced after completing the audit and academic placements from the concerned colleges. An email is sent to the accepted students, and an email of apology for admission is sent to those who are not accepted.
 
The required documents:
  • Examination of high school marks.
  • Certified graduation document.
  • Bachelor's degree transcript.
  • University marks system for graduates of non-Jordanian universities
  • Determining a grade from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for graduates of foreign universities or universities for which there is no grade.
  • A written approval issued by the authorized authority stating that there is no objection to the study of its bearer, for members of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security services.
  • Copy of certificate equivalency from the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for graduates of non-Jordanian universities.
  • The need to ensure that the university that issued a bachelor’s degree is recognized in Jordan through the website of the Ministry of Higher Education: http://rce.mohe.gov.jo/en/RecognizedUniversities
  • A copy of the civil status ID or passport.
  • For those who wish: Attach a copy of the CV and a copy of experience certificates and training courses, if any.
  • A copy of the electronic payment of the application fee (25) dinars (non-refundable).
  • A copy of a document proving English language ability: that the applicant has obtained the mark approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in one of the English language exams, as follows:

Note: Kindly note that any English language test result not mentioned above in the advertisement will not be approved.
 
In addition to the following requirements for English language ability:
 
It should not have been more than two years since the date of submitting the English language test.
Students who did not meet the English language ability requirement (successfully) are allowed to study a qualifying program in the English language at the university if they are accepted into the master’s program (6 credit hours) during the first semester of admission in accordance with Graduate Studies Council Resolution No. (5-1/2021/2022) ):
The Council decided to allow the registration of courses with a maximum of ((6) credit hours) with the Intensive English Language Qualifying Program (6 credit hours), i.e. a total of (12 credit hours) with the approval of the department head in the concerned college. From the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022, otherwise, his acceptance is considered null.
 
Graduate Studies Council Decision No. (14/132/2018/2019): regarding the examination center   British Council-Jordan Branch-IELTS, AMIDEAST-Jordan Branch-TOEFL
 
The Council decided, for the purposes of accepting international students from outside Jordan, accepting Jordanian students residing outside the country, and giving the opportunity to apply for admission to master’s programs for students who obtained an acceptable result in these international exams from other than the above-mentioned centers:
 
Approving the issuance of an initial admission after the recommendation of the concerned college and the Deanship of Graduate Studies, provided that the student submits an English proficiency level exam held by the university before the start of study in the program.
 
Initially accepted students who do not achieve the required passing mark in this exam are enrolled in the English language qualifying program offered by the university, in which they must pass according to the applicable instructions, during the first semester of its admission according to Graduate Studies Council Resolution No. (5-1/2021/2022) The Council decided to allow the registration of courses with a maximum of ((6) credit hours) with the Intensive English Language Qualifying Program (6 credit hours), i.e. a total of (12 credit hours) with the approval of the department head in the concerned college, and the study of the program is on the first semester of the student’s admission, Starting from the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022, otherwise his admission is considered null.
 
 
Students who are initially accepted and successful in this exam register for courses according to the study plan and are issued regular acceptance notices.
