A delegation from  Koblenz University consisting of faculty members, master’s and bachelor’s students specializing in Energy and Resources Engineering, Architecture, and  Built Environment visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to learn about best practices in Jordan in the field of climate-resilient cities.

The program included visits to observe the best practices in Jordan concerning the various fields of energy, transportation, and green buildings. The delegation visited the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) in Jabal Amman campus and attended a lecture on Transportation in Jordan in coordination with the Road Safety Center of Excellence (RSCE) at GJU.

Furthermore, the delegation visited the building of Izzat Marji Company, examples of sustainable buildings in Jordan, and went for a trip to Wadi Al-Arab Dam and Yarmouk River.

It is worth mentioning that a delegation from GJU visited Koblenz University earlier to learn about the best practices in the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of climate-resilient cities.
