The German Jordanian University (GJU) broke a new ground for the first time since its establishment in 2005, represented by the classification of the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the university within the QS World University Rankings by Subject I 2024.

According to the classification, the field of electrical engineering ranked 451-500 globally, while the field of computer science ranked 651-700.

The President of the University, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, praised the advanced results obtained by the university in one of the most important international rankings, praising the efforts of colleagues from the academic and administrative bodies and their continuous work towards enhancing GJU's image and reputation, and enabling it to be a leading international university.

Prof. Al-Halhouli indicated that based on the university's strategic vision to continue its progress globally with its unique model of applied education, which is concerned with quality education, community service, scientific research, and linking academia and industry with a distinct Arab-European cultural template, it will continue to work to ensure its leadership in a decent position among international universities
