The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Office for Industrial links at GJU organized a workshop delivered by the Jordan National Erasmus Plus office on how to prepare for a successful project proposal within the Erasmus plus projects.

The workshop was held in the presence of Professor Manar Fayyad, GJU Vice President, and Dr. Salem Al-Aqtash, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and gathered a number of GJU academic members as well as other guests from Jordanian Universities.  

Professor Ahmad Abu-El-Haija, Director of Jordan National Erasmus Plus office, delivered a detailed presentation about the project proposal, the elements of the proposal, eligibility criteria and award criteria, elements that make a project and specific projects objectives.  He also defined the project as a series of activities and tasks that has a specific objective to be completed within certain specification.

Abu-El-Haija pointed out that Erasmus+ is an EU program for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014-2020 all over the world.

Following the workshop, Professor Ahmad Abu-El-Haija met with GJU President Professor Natheer Abu Obeid where both sides explored ways to support Academic research and discussed areas of cooperation.
