The German Jordanian University and the Specialty Hospital signed a cooperation agreement that aims to train students from the School of Nursing. The school was recently established by the university and the first batch of students will Commencing as of the academic year 2023-2024.
The agreement, which was signed on behalf of the university by its president, Prof. Ala’aldeen  Al-Halhouli, and on behalf of the Specialty Hospital, by its executive manager and head of the board of directors, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, aims to educate and train nursing students, this includes active participation in academic writing, research, and scientific projects, which will be presented to relevant authorities for further consideration.
the cooperation also encompasses joint efforts to support medical, clinical, and health research, encouraging joint research which contributes to the development of medical and health services. An additional goal is to promote a culture of innovation, startups, and technological development in the medical sector
Al-Halhouli indicated that the agreement is a model of partnership between the public and private sectors, and it is a strategic partnership that will give students practical experiences in a distinguished educational environment within high-performance medical institutions, of which the Specialty Hospital is one of the most prominent in this field, which will reflect on the development of their skills to contribute to the development of the nursing sector in Jordan, especially since they will also be trained in major German hospitals.
Dr. Al-Hamouri, on the other hand, expresses confidence in the fruitful outcomes of this collaboration and distinguished by its demand, graduates and employees, which will lead to multiple fields, especially since the specialized hospital is an educational hospital accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council and the Arab Medical Council for Health Specializations since 2006 and includes in the spaciousness of the Specialized Center for Training, which provides all basic life support programs and advanced life support programs for injuries (ATLS) in addition to (ATCN) for Nursing and approved by the American Heart Association and the American School of Surgeons.
