A delegation of German students participating in the Arabic Language and Culture Program, which is held annually by GJU with the support of the German Exchange Service (DAAD) to teach foreign students standard and colloquial Arabic, visited the Senate.
The senate member, Khalid Ramadan said that all peoples are united by the concept of humanity, the culture of peace, coexistence and equality among the others regardless of each one’s race and religion, leading to the concept of global citizenship.
For his part, Dr. Labib Al Khadra spoke about His Majesty King Abdullah II's orientations on empowering youth and involving them in political life.
Al-Khadra, who is one of the founding presidents of the German Jordanian University, said that GJU was established as a basis for the exchange of cultures between the two friendly countries, and is a civilized and cultural bridge between Europe and Jordan.
Dr. Al-Sarayrah gave a presentation on the mechanism of the Senate’s work and the most prominent constitutional, legislative and oversight functions.
