On Sunday 28th of October 2018, The German Jordanian University’s family (GJU), expressed their condolence over deadly flash flood tragedy near Dead Sea, that caused the death of 21 victims most of them school children.
The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Dr. Atef Kharabsheh, the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Raed Khasawneh and a group of the university’s staff and students conveyed their grieving and sympathy to the martyrs’ families and wished the injured the soonest recovery. Absentee prayer was performed upon martyrs’ souls.
