On 24th of May 2017, the Deanship of Students Affairs at German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a cultural exhibition and Bazaar for Arab and International students at GJU, with the presence of the university president, vice- presidents, number of ambassadors and Cultural Attachés from Arabic and foreign embassies.
President of GJU Dr. Natheer Abu Obeid and Dean of Deanship of student affairs Dr. Omar Shubailat gave speeches showing the importance of the exhibition to know other countries’ culture, habits and traditions, in addition to traditional food and folks dance.
After the opening ceremony Abu Obied and guests wonders around the exhibition and bazaar where the students presented a brief on their countries and distributed brochures, food and desserts.
At the exhibition a tickets were sold to the guests as a contribution to organize Iftar in Ramadan for the children and families in need especially in the neighboring areas to the university.
