The German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of the Arabic Language and Culture Program (ALC) students supported by DAAD.

During the ceremony, the Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) and Program Coordinator, Dr. Thelal Oweis, explained the importance of teaching students the Arabic language and refining their skills and personalities to be ambassadors of GJU and Jordan in their countries.

Participants delivered speeches expressing their happiness at the completion of the program, pointing out the new experiences they gained, such as introducing them to Arab customs and traditions, folk songs, and popular food, learning about historical and archaeological sites in Jordan.

The ceremony also included a presentation of the most prominent stages of the program, a performance by students of thoughts, poems, and songs in Arabic.

The graduation was attended by the Director of the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, the Dean of the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SABE), Dr. Omaima Ali, the Vice Dean of the School of Applied Languages ​​and Humanities (SAHL), Prof.  Haitham Al-Thawabieh, and the program team, Dr. Youssef Rababa’a, Ms. Khaleda Al-Radaida, and Ms. Zain Abu Talib, who praised the advanced level achieved by the students in learning the Arabic language and urged them to encourage their friends to visit Jordan to learn the Arabic language and be familiarized with the Arab culture.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the participants.
