Since 2015, HELP Logistics and the German Jordanian University enjoyed a longstanding partnership and worked towards capacity building and bridging the skills gap in the humanitarian sector, through creation of unique and diversified programs for professionals from the humanitarian sector and logisticians interested in joining the sector.

Considering the humanitarian sector pressing need for qualified logistics talents in Jordan and the region, Help Logistics and GJU relaunched the Humanitarian Logistics Diploma Program. The design of the Diploma and the final output have been produced collaboratively between HELP Logistics and GJU Consultation and Training Center.

Twenty participants representing eleven different NGOs in Jordan and the region have been successfully enrolled in this unique program. The program runs between 17th May 2021 and 17th February 2022, it consists of 300 hours and grants candidates a GJU-CTC Professional Diploma in Humanitarian Logistics, accredited by Jordan's Ministry of Higher Education. The Diploma is built on a competency-based approach, emphasizing the application of skills and

combines both theory and practice, by providing online interactive sessions, practice-based graduation project, and a capstone simulation exercise.
