The German Jordanian University (GJU) honored 150 of its distinguished students academically, and winners in local, regional, and international contests, in addition to active and outstanding students in sports and arts, for the Second Semester of 2021/2022.

The ceremony was held as part of the GJU's celebrations of the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein with the support of Orange Money.

The President of GJU, Prof Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, indicated that the students are the valuable and unique model that illustrates the German Jordanian University expressing his pride in the students' achievements, persistence and participation in various activities.

For her part, the Dean of Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), Dr. Dr. Thelal Oweis, praised the students' achievements and urged them to continue the path of progress and success to advance their country to the highest levels.

In turn, the student Zaid Abu Deieh expressed his happiness and his fellow students for the university's appreciation for them, praising the support and encouragement of the faculty members, indicating the university's stimulating and inspiring environment that is full of different experiences, opportunities, and discoveries.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Halhouli distributed certificates of appreciation and souvenirs to the students. The ceremony was attended by Vice Presidents of GJU, Deans of the Schools, Teaching and Administrative members, and students' families.
