The School of Nursing and the School of Applied Medical Sciences in collaboration with the affiliate Specialty Training Center of the Specialty Hospital/ Amman organized a campaign raising awareness, marking the Heartsaver month, titled “I Can Save a Life”.
Students and Faculty members were taught and trained to perform a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) according to the established protocol by the American Heart Association.
Prof. Dr. Ibrahem Altarawneh, Dean of School of Nursing stressed on the importance of holding such events, due to its significant role of creating awareness for students and employees at GJU to be able to implement the correct procedures in case of emergencies.
