The German Jordanian University (GJU), in cooperation with the Jordanian-German Center for Ophthalmology, organized a Free Medical Day for eyes on Jabal Amman campus.  The students of the Abdalia Basic School for Boys, GJU students and staff, and the local community in Jabal Amman benefited from the activity.

Assistant to the President at Jabal Amman campus, Abdul Hakeem Arabiyat, indicated that organizing the Free Medical Day comes within GJU's strategy to support community participation and serve the local community, which the university considers a national duty, and an approach to meet the needs of the citizen.

Al-Wodoh Drug Store, Al-Sharq Drugs / Shakhshir, Umniah Trading Corporation, Medicals International, and Al-Mutanabi supported the Day by offering medical examinations for the students and dispensing the necessary treatments for those who needed them and follow-up.

On the sideline of the activity, the Director General of the Center, Prof.  Ibrahim Al-Nawaisa, presented a medical lecture entitled (The latest developments in vision correction operations), during which he emphasized the center's vision of providing medical services to the people of the country.
