The German Jordanian University, in collaboration with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, organized the 2023 Reading Marathon event through the Library Department. The event hosted a group of school students from the Naour region.
The marathon, coinciding with the National Reading Day on September 29th each year, aims to encourage reading, create small reading communities, and introduce readers to new books in an atmosphere filled with learning and enjoyment.
It is worth mentioning that the German Jordanian University, as part of its strategic vision, strives to promote a culture of reading among the younger generations, making it a societal habit and achieving sustainable cultural development
