The Department of Social Work /School of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL), held a workshop on "Storytelling and Philosophizing with Children" for second-grade students from Umamah Bint Abi Al-Aas School, located in the Husban area, Naour in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Division and the Department of Public Services at the German Jordanian University (GJU) to present a set of activities.
The activity was part of a Summer School project in cooperation with the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences aimed at researching ways to strengthen resilience in times of crisis.
The activities included storytelling in a way that aims to promote reflection and curiosity among children, and raise philosophical and interactive questions to them through stories narrated by paper theater "Kamishibai" and talking puppets.
