The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Alhalhouli, participated in the Bahrain Exhibition for Training and Education 2023, pre-work edition 12, and “The Education and Labor Market Forum,” under the patronage of the Minister of Labor, Jameel bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, and with the participation of academics, leaders in the field of education and training, and government officials.
During the forum, Dr. Alhalhouli referred to the experience of the German Jordanian University, which is unique in the region, as it was established on the model of German universities of applied sciences to simulate the German technical model that links theoretical education with practice and meets the needs of the labor market.
Dr. Alhalhouli added that the university aspires to be a leading international university that focuses on leadership, innovation, scientific research and community service, in addition to building strategic partnerships with Arab and Bahraini higher education institutions for the benefit of the Arab world and its youth.
Dr. Alhalhouli indicated that the exhibition constituted a unique opportunity for Jordanian universities to acquaint school students and those interested in Bahrain with their programs and to attract Bahraini students to study in Jordan due to the good reputation enjoyed by Jordanian universities, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its interest in educational tourism and marketing Jordanian universities to the Arab world.
