The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI- TECH) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), participated in Jordan StartUp Expo organized by The Future Event to bring together the country’s most Innovative and emerging Start-ups to meet and connect with the region’s leading cutting-edge solution providers, Venture Capital firms, Angel Investors, Accelerators, and Incubators.
More than 100 leading companies from Jordan participated in the two-day exhibition at the St. Regis Hotel. The event focused on business development, performance, data technology, information technology, branding, and finance, to explore potential technological and software solutions offered by emerging companies from human resource technology, financial technology, e-commerce, and others.
During the exhibition, GJU representatives introduced the booth visitors, the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs offered at the university, the German Year, its partnerships with the industrial and educational sectors, and its role in promoting a leadership culture in society.
The President Advisor for Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, and the Innovation Ambassador at the Global Innovation Management Institute, Dr. AbdelRahman Zuraik, participated in the event as a keynote speaker where he presented (The German Jordanian University innovates), explaining Institutional innovation and leadership in a sustainable manner.
The Dean of DI- TECH, Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, and the President of Magdeburg-Stendal University in Germany, Prof. Manuela Schwarz, attended the event.
