The German Jordanian University (GJU) / Consultation and Training Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) on Monday, 9th of May.

The memo aims at enhancing the cooperation in developing training programs in business, industry and education, exchanging experiences in the areas of designing and evaluating these common training programs as well as  conducting joint studies and researches.  

The MoU was signed by the GJU President Professor Natheer Abu Obeid on behalf of the University, and the Chairman of ACC Mr. Issa Murad on behalf of the ACC.

President Abu Obeid expressed his pride of this cooperation with the ACC, saying that strengthening such a bilateral cooperation with the business sector is one of the university’s goals since GJU is considering the practical approach in its educational system and that would help the university to invest in its students.

For his part Mr. Issa emphasized that it is an honor for ACC to collaborate with GJU, expressing hope to strengthen more ways to forge closer cooperation with the university in future.

The event was attended by the GJU Vice Presidents, some of GJU academic members in addition to the representatives from the ACC.
