On Sunday ,14th of December , a group of students from the National Education course visited the Jordan Museum. The trip was organized by the Center for the Study of Natural and Cultural Heritage in collaboration with Mr. Adel Hawatmeh, the instructor of the National Education course.

The purpose of this visit is to introduce the students to the museum and to the historical and cultural richness of the country. The students, accompanied by Dr. Yosha Al-Amri from the museum toured the permanent exhibit, which reviews the history of Jordan from the Palaeolithic times until the Byzantine period. It highlights artifacts, including significant moments in the technological developments of the region as well as objects of worship, culture and beauty.

They also toured the temporary exhibit, which celebrates the 200th anniversary for the "rediscovery" of Petra. Titled "Petra: The desert wonder", this exhibit highlights significant aspects of the Nabateans and the ancient city of Petra itself.
