The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a Welcome Meeting to new students at the university in the presence of the President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad and the participation of all schools, their Deans, Academic and Administrative staff.
Prof. Manar welcomed the students and congratulated them for joining GJU, stressing the high reputation of GJU in education, clarifying the applied sciences approach that the university adopts similar to German Universities.
Moreover, Prof. Manar introduced the German Year to the students and its huge impact on the students' personalities and skills set. She also urged them to utilize and engage with the opportunities that GJU offers in many areas.
On another hand, the Schools' Deans and staff welcomed the students and introduced them to the specialties, the regulations, and familiarized them with each school environment and requirements.
The Dean of DSA, Dr. Raed Khasawneh introduced the Deanship, its departments, activities, and clubs in addition to the clinic. He encouraged the students to engage with GJU's activities and initiate with their ideas, passion, and suggestions.
