The German Language Center (GLC) at the German-Jordanian University (GJU) organized a workshop on improving and developing language abilities for Students.

The workshop, which was held by DAAD in cooperation with project office in Magdeburg and the new head of GLC introduced the participants to the latest methods and techniques used in developing German language for students by discussing several themes over two days (between September 17- 18, 2019).

The workshop, which was attended by 26 lecturers and experts, aims to analyze the GLC concept and its framework conditions, to identify critical success factors and to design a catalogue of possible measures aiming at the improvement of language capabilities of GJU students.

The participants were the Vice President for International Affairs at GJU Prof. Ralf Rosskopf, the Head of division Study Programs in Middle East, Africa and Latin America Benjamin Schmäling, the Head of GJU project Office in Magdeburg Dr. Monica Heitz, University of Bochum (ZFA), Member of DaF Network Dr. Astrid Reich, DAAD lecturer and Head of Master DaF program at SAHL  Dr. Gerhard Jaiser, the Director and Deputy Directors of the GLC, Jacqueline Rogler, Margarethe Nofal and Samir Haskic as well as 17 lecturers with expert function at the German Language Center.
