The German Language Center (GLC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) held its first face-to-face exam on Moodle for over 200 students on January 18, ushering in the era of future finals in the digitized format. The pilot run took place in German 2 of the B1 and B2 tracks.

Students worked either with their laptops or on the GJU Labs computers, where engineers of the Information Systems and Technology Center (ISTC) at GJU were available at all times to make sure any technical incidents that occurred were quickly resolved and serve to enhance the learning and optimization process for subsequent exams in digital format.

Jacqueline Rogler, Director of GLC, stated that it was a new experience for students and teachers where feedback was collected for further development. In addition, she thanked the engineers of the ISTC who actively supported the GLC in the planning and implementation of the digitized exam.
