The Consultation and Training Center at the German Jordanian University, in cooperation with the KTTC Academy and the Expertise France - the European Union, celebrated the graduation of the participants in the Soul-Body Dialogue Diploma. This diploma is concerned with developing communication skills between caregivers in various fields and children of determination.
The course was held at the CTC in Jabal Amman, in addition to the headquarters of the KTTC. Participants in this diploma reached 25, and the duration of the program covered 300 hours distributed over nine months, in which the participants followed the theoretical topics and their practical application with a number of experts and trainers in their fields.
The program focused on aspects that targeted kindergarten teachers in nursery schools and day centers affiliated with the Ministry of Social Development.
The participants presented their work with children of determination and showed how to deal with them using sign language or teaching them the Braille language. They also presented non-traditional methods to teach them the alphabet, customized print books, and storytelling through puppet and shadow theater and the use of modern and innovative methods in specialized therapeutic sports, and the treatment of speech and language disorders in children with a high level of professionalism.
Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, Director of CTC, attended the ceremony where he expressed his pride in the people of the country who contribute to building it despite the challenges they face. He emphasized the role of the University in contributing to the development of the local community through the development of training and educational programs.
Mrs. Nihaya Al-Nasser from the Academy delivered a speech where she encouraged the graduates to move forward in the service of people of determination praising the support and encouragement of the University for these educational programs that aim to integrate people of determination into society.
At the end of the ceremony, Al-Shawawreh handed the certificates to the graduates.
