The Consultation and Training center (CTC) has been organizing intensive German language courses for the University academic and administrative staff,at German Jordanian University (GJU) within its training plan for 2018/2019.

The courses are within the upcoming training program that the Center is focusing on in its 2018/2019 plan.

Director of CTC Dr. Abdallah Abdallah, emphasized that the key roles of the Consultation and Training Center is to keep the workforce safe, productive and engaged in the universities activities and interests.

The training objectives support this role by educating the GJU staff on the relevant procedures. Training objectives focus on what the organization needs to achieve and how to help employees attain the university's goals.

From her side, Dr. Thelal Oweis, language courses coordinator, pointed out that depending on the type of business and specific challenges the university faces, there are a wide range of possible training objectives. However, some are important in almost every organization.

Dr. Oweis highlighted the importance of learning the German language for the university Academic and administrative staff especially that they are dealing with German colleagues, friends and partners on daily basis. " The learners are not only willing to improve their German proficiency but also really get to know the German cultural and historical background."

The CTC offers a comprehensive program of total immersion in the German language:  two semesters ago the employees started their intensive German course with A1.1 level and during this coming second

semester an A.2.2 course is taking place. The center is also planning to open an A1.1 course for the employees next semester.
