Prof. Abass al-Husseini, Cultural Counselor of Iraqi Cultural Office -Amman, yesterday visited GJU and met the GJU President Prof.Natheer Ab.Obeid, and Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President of the university. He discussed the various issues pertaining to Iraqi students and academic exchange.
Prof. Abu Obied welcomed the Iraqi Cultural Counselor and emphasized that GJU is always keen to support all students, specifically the international students, helping them feel more comfortable as they are living in their home country and in one family as GJU.
Prof.al-Husseini commended the university’s high scientific and educational level, where he also met with the GJU Iraqi students and listened to their concerns. He further called on all Iraqi students that they would be ambassadors of peace and an outstanding scientific performance of their country in Jordan and all over the world.
