On Wednesdays 11th   and 25th  of April 2018 The International Office (IO) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), held The Kick-off meeting to the outgoing students- Summer 2018 to prepare them for the German Year.

The IO is organizing three meetings throughout the semester to the students to clarify and facilitate all the procedures and processes they have to go through.

The first meeting has discussed the students’ life in Germany in general, explaining the importance of this year in enhancing their skills, German language besides its tremendous impact on their career objectives afterward.

In the first meeting that was attended by more than 200 students a presentation was conducted about “steps to make a great German year” where the students were guided through detailed steps in how to start planning, organizing and utilizing sources and facilities available to them, including needed documents for the University, dormitory application and demonstrating a general overview of the expenses during the German Year.

While the second meeting discussed the “Fintiba and Visa application” explaining the steps of completing the FINTIBA process and the visa application.
