A kick of meeting for GJU students who are leaving to Germany organized by the International Office on Sunday, July 31, 2016.       

Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, GJU President assured on students to accept the others and to open to other cultures, and how to represent their country in a good and positive way in order to reflect that bright model of the Jordanian youth, saying that  students are the future of their country.  

Prof. Dorit Schumann, Vice President for International Affairs, welcomed all the guests and students, and urged outgoing students to seize this opportunity through engaging themselves in such a sports, musical, social and cultural activities, where they can improve their German skills and gain experiences. 

On his side, Mr.Mattihias Wehler from Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Amman, said “personally it touches me when I see bright young people who are educated and able to bridging the cultures of both countries”.

He also emphasized how important the positive interaction of both German and Jordanian cultures, wishing them a pleasant staying in Germany.

Dr. Omar Shubailat, Dean of Student Affairs said that the deanship is always ready to help the students and guide them, where Dr. Sahar Makhamreh gave them a detailed  presentation about Migration and Refugees program, as Refugees became a global issue.  

It is worth mentioning that the meeting included several presentations by returnee students, who covered a range of important topics about their personal experience in Germany.
