The German Jordanian University (GJU) and its partner universities in Germany organized three exciting online meetings as part of German Week. These events were initiated by the Outgoing Coordinators of the International Affairs Department with the aim of providing students with the opportunity to get to know the host university they will be visiting during their German Year.

The meetings proved to be extremely valuable as they allowed students to ask and share their concerns to representatives of their future university. There were lively discussions on various topics such as the university city, everyday life on campus, as well as practical matters like dormitories or student jobs.

In addition to the benefits for the students, the German universities also had the opportunity to get to know the outgoing students. This allowed the universities to provide individual advice for the preparation for the German Year and assist students in planning their stay. The Outgoing Coordinators of the International Affairs Department played a crucial role in organizing and conducting these meetings, ensuring smooth communication and effective exchange of information between our students and the German universities.

Overall, the three online meetings during the German Week were a great success. Students were able to address their inquiries, reduce their concerns, and receive valuable advice, while the universities had the opportunity to establish a connection with the incoming students. These events underscore the importance of preparation for studying abroad and demonstrate the commitment of GJU and its partner universities to providing a successful and enriching academic experience for all students.
