The student Mais Al-Tarawneh from the Biomedical Engineering Department/ the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) won the award for the best expressive oil painting for the project of the media and theater team for community peace in the southern governorates.
The awards were handed out during the closing ceremony organized by the Community Peace Center, in the presence of Australian Ambassador Bernard Lynch, Director of Preventive Security Colonel Ameen Wraikat, senior officials of ministries, deans of student affairs at public and private universities, and representatives of civil society institutions.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates and prizes were distributed, and the art exhibition was inaugurated.
Al-Tarawneh expressed her pride in this achievement, which she dedicated to GJU and its president, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-halhouli, as an appreciation for their support of all sports and cultural activities at the university.
