The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, met with the coordinators of the international Projects supported by external parties at GJU to review the progress of projects and the stages of implementing and closing projects' activities.

Prof. Al-Halhouli expressed his support to these projects and those working on them, providing directions to facilitate the tasks of the teams during the stages of submitting proposals. He directed to reconsider the current regulations and instructions regarding effectiveness and to make sure they are in line with the regulations of the supporting parties as well as the University.

During the meeting which was attended by Vice President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Ralf Rosskopf, and some directors of the departments, a set of proposals submitted by project managers were discussed to facilitate their tasks in implementing projects, achieving goals and desired results, in addition to presenting a summary of statistics related to the number of projects supported by external parties during the previous years, their budgets, and the practical applications of these projects. These statistics showed an increase in the number of projects in the past three years. Most of the projects are in the areas of renewable energy, water and environment, information technology, nanotechnology, humanities, and social work.
