The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Nabih Elias Azzam & Partners (NEA) have renewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in regards to the Professional Diploma Professional Diploma of Quantity Surveying and training courses in Quantity Calculation.
The MoU that was signed on behalf of the university by the President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NEA, Mr. Nabih Azzam, stipulated the continuation of cooperation in implementing the program at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) and opening new horizons for collaboration through NEA's participation in the Dual Studies Program at GJU.
Dr. Al-Halhouli stressed that the partnership with the industrial sector is a priority for GJU to enhance practical skills, enhance the dissemination of learning, and strengthen relations with the industry to enrich expertise and scientific knowledge.
For his part, Mr. Azzam said that the goal of this partnership is to serve the Jordanian market and provide it with qualified individuals in developing leading knowledge of the duties of quantity surveyors and understanding the mechanisms of work, different materials in construction and cost management effectively.
The signing was attended by the Vice President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, the Dean of the SABE, Dr. Maram Tawil, Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, and the Director of the consultation and Training Center, Abdalhakeem Arbiyyat.
