The Activities and External Relations Committee of the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized Biomechanics Poster Day to learn more about Biomechanics in practical and daily life.
Dr. Jumana Ma'touq, the course instructor, stated that the activity aimed to encourage the students, who were distributed in the form of groups, to research the practical applications of this field in a lively and interactive way, in addition, to give them the opportunity for deep research, discussion and exchange of information with each other.
Ma'touq praised the ideas presented by the students in prosthetics, sports devices, and applications, solutions for some daily practices such as carrying heavy school bags, wearing high heels, and sitting for long periods in front of computers.
It is noteworthy that the presentations were presented in two sessions, and the best poster for each group was selected and honored.
