The Dialogue and Politics Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a symposium on political participation conducted by the former Minister of Culture and Minister of Youth Dr. Mohammad Abu Rumman in the presence of GJU President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli.
During the symposium, Dr. Al-Halhouli praised the students' efforts to learn about the political participation concept, stressing that they have an active role in the decision-making process in issues that concern them and their country in all fields, inside or outside the university.
For his part, Dr. Abu Rumman encouraged the students to actively participate in the national movement that aims at political and economic empowerment, especially for the youth, take the initiative and provide solutions in building the country since the decision of political and economic modernization is a national sovereign decision at the highest levels.
The club’s consultant, Dr. Bader Madi, moderated the session, which was attended by the Dean of DSA, the club’s president, Omar Al-Maaytah, and GJU students.
