The Sustainability Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in cooperation with the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH), organized a symposium entitled sustainability at GJU, presented by the Dean of DI-TECH, Dr. Nidal Al-Shawawreh, and faculty member in Business School (BS), Dr. Hassan Younis.
Dr. Yunis reviewed three topics of environmental, social, and economic sustainability and the sustainable development goals that were approved by the United Nations Climate Change Conference, pointing to opportunities to improve the print of the environment at GJU through the use of natural resources and effective waste management in its solid, liquid and gaseous forms.
In turn, Dr. Shawawreh presented the opportunities available to students and the support for green ideas and initiatives that would improve sustainable performance at GJU.
