The School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at GJU in collaboration with AKTCO Corporation have organized a training session about the use of smart boards and advanced teaching technologies. This training session is part of the ongoing activities of the OpenMed European project (https://openmedproject.eu/) that aims to raise awareness and facilitate the adoption of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP) in the Arab Mediterranean countries, with a particular focus on higher education in Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Palestine.
In fact, the OpenMed project aims to develop approaches for integrating open education and open contents in the instructional materials and the overall strategies of higher education institutes, including strategies for incorporating open education approaches and blended learning experiences.
